This function, like Download, saves the results of a concordance so that they can be used at a later date. Unlike Download, with a saved query you can do subsequent operations like collocations, thinning, sorting, distributions, etc. within BNCweb itself.

Steps

1. In the BNC Query Result window, select Save current hits and press 'Go!'
2. Give the data a meaningful name, and click Go! to save.
   

   

3. Later you can access the same data again from 'Saved queries' on the BNCweb main page.

1. There is a limit of 1000 concordance lines that can be saved by this method. If your current set of results contains more than 1000 hits, you are given the option to randomly thin the number of concordance lines to 1000 or less.
